Nautica..not bad..! but local car shd be more cheaper what..!!Rush (CBU) cost only 88k for G specs and 95k for S.

Agree Lagong, the only major different is Nautica is 4WD. For me both also dun wan to buy. If buy Rush ppl will though it is Nautica, if buy Nautica is too expensive, not worth for it.

  3. AutoIndustrie says:

Well I don’t think its fair to compare its pricing with our local Rush. The Rush is imported from Indonesia, and is a 7-seater.

Nautica is imported from Japan. Import duties are VERYYY different for the two cars.

Anyway Perodua has stated this will not be volume seller car. More info http://autoindustrie.blogspot.com/2008/05/nautica-malaysian-terios.html

Local car manufacturer always like to copy. Government already spend so many ‘duit’ to cover their lost. too bad. Wasting our tax payer money.

Ya I saw that new on paper too, Perodua is expecting to sell only 200 unit per month. But I’m wondering if they don’t expect to sell hot then what for they import this car?? Can make money???

I’m expect the price would be at range of 60k. This is way too much for local car. Before this I was thinking to buy one but 80k forget about it. Better get Rush. Nautica sux…

  7. Dave says:

Yes it’s a bit too expensive for a local car. But in fact this Nautica is fully imported from Japan and it’s 4WD. Rush is only 2WD and is import from Indonesia. So there is also pro and cons, just depend on how you justify it.

it’s a good move by P2 to revamp their manufacturing / sales n just buy n sell. no need to waste on RnD cost.

Personally, i think P2 take this to survey their market status locally compare with imported cars. With about the same car and about the same price, the only different is the brand.
